📣 News & Announcements
AltLayer Launches Kyoto on Espresso
AltLayer has launched a new Arbitrum Orbit rollup on top of Espresso’s testnet, Kyoto. This chain is open for developers to launch their own apps on top of, and for end-users to start submitting transactions on the network. Ultimately, it’s a chain to test out the potential of Espresso’s shared sequencer network.
Rollchains Unveils TIABlob: Cosmos Chains With Celestia Underneath
Rollchains has unveiled TIABlob, an open-source Cosmos SDK module that turns an existing Cosmos chain into a Celestia rollup. There’s already a lineup of Rollchains coming to market soon, including Stride, Noble, Pokt, Pryzm, and Kyve - Read
Restake Any ERC-20 on EigenLayer
Any ERC-20 is now supported on EigenLayer’s restaking protocol, following their announcement of Permissionless Token Support Mainnet Launch.
This means “AVSs can choose to accept any ERC-20 token as a restaked asset to provide cryptoeconomic security for their AVS”. Aside from expanding cryptoeconomic security to include a diversified set of assets, this also allows AVSs to provide another use case for their own native tokens.
Fully Onchain Chess, as a Rollup
The Stackr team has released a fully onchain Chess game: “this is an app-specific rollup with just 1 purpose, validating chess moves in its state machine”. Yes, every move is verifiable.
The cool thing here is that this was built by just taking an already existing JS library and use in your smart contracts for your own L2.
Rivalz Unveils New Arbitrum Chain
Rivalz Network has announced the deployment of their second rollup, this time using Arbitrum Orbit tech.
This Arbitrum chain will be used for their new service, ADCS (Agentic Data Coordination Service). According to the post, this chain will serve as the “homebase” for their EVM operations - & this will be possible due to the fact that this Orbit chain will be deployed on top of Caldera’s MetaLayer.
Originally, Rivalz had launched a Dymension IBC RollApp, and while this chain will continue to live on, it’'ll serve as a home for their DePIN product.
Lyra Rebrands to Derive
Lyra rebrands to Derive, as they announce their new updated vision to become a foundational layer for defi. As a reminder, Lyra was one of the most active Celestia rollups, consistently ranking towards the top. Derive will continue the development of the platform’s derivative products.
PirateNation Goes Multichain
Prof of Play, an onchain gaming studio, has deployed the second PirateNation chain, Boss, making PirateNation a multichain game now.
Boss will run alongside PirateNation’s first chain, Apex. & as a player, you’ll be able to trade in-game assets (NFTs) between both chains without any bridging required.
In regards to architecture, Boss will utilize the Arbitrum Orbit stack, alongside Arbitrum’s AnyTrust DA solution. & similar to Apex, Boss is deployed with Conduit.
Omni Announces Mochi Party
Omni Network has launched Omni Omega, their third and final testnet release before mainnet deployment.
Alongside this 3rd testnet deployment, Omni has unveiled its “Mochi Party” campaign, where over the next couple of weeks, users will be able to complete minigames from each dapp on Omega, which will be tracked on Galxe.
In just four days since releasing Mochi Party, there’s already been +24K players 👀
