📣 News & Announcements
First Clearing Layer is Live on Mainnet
Everclear has officially launched on mainnet, introducing the first web3 clearing layer as part of the Chain Abstraction stack. By optimizing netting and clearing processes for dApps and solvers, Everclear reduces the cost of settlements by up to 10x. Everclear aggregates transactions across multiple parties before final settlement, significantly lowering gas fees and improving efficiency.
Full article breakdown of “Clearing”, coming soon!
Prism: Secure and Verifiable Communication Without Intermediaries
Ryan, who used to be an engineer at Celestia, has unveiled Prism, a “verifiable authentication standard for private messaging and beyond”.
Prism allows users to verify the authenticity of their encrypted messages. Unlike current encrypted messaging platforms, which still depend on centralized servers to confirm users' identities, Prism enables direct, real-time verification, ensuring the parties communicating are exactly who they claim to be.
Prism leverages validity proofs to post cryptographic evidence to Celestia. This enables users to instantly verify the identity of the person they are communicating with using light nodes embedded in their devices. By removing the need for centralized servers to act as gatekeepers, Prism eliminates the weak points found in traditional E2EE systems, where users cannot be sure they're talking to the right person unless they physically verify identities.
Traditional encryption methods provide privacy but fall short of guaranteeing the identity of communication partners. Prism closes that gap, turning privacy into something verifiable rather than assumed.
Lemongrass: Celestia’s First Major Upgrade Hits Mainnet
Celestia’s first major upgrade, Lemongrass, has hit mainnet!
Lemongrass consists of 5️⃣ total Celestia Improvement Proposals (CIPs). We broke down Lemongrass, along with each of these five CIPs, in a recent article, here.
Risc Zero Unveils Boundless
Risc Zero unveils Boundless, “the verifiable compute layer”. Execute offchain. Verify onchain, using any chain.
Because execution is moved offchain, the typical limitations of onchain computation, such as transaction and block limitations, are abstracted away—hence, “boundless” execution.
Lens Network Chooses AvailDA
Lens chooses Avail as their preferred DA layer for their, soon-to-launch, Hyperchain. Avail will help Lens scale to the millions of users they envision obtaining, as they continue on their mission to build a decentralized social network protocol.
Dymension’s 3D Update Is Live: Permissionless Rollups
Dymension’s much anticipated 3D update is live!
As a reminder, Dymension first introduced their 4-phase mainnet roadmap back in February.
Phase 1 introduced staking, IBC, and governance to the Dymension network
Phase 2 allowed DYM stakers to vote for which RollApp they want to see become amongst the first to go live on mainnet, through the “RollApp Draft”.
Phase 3: Now that a few selected teams from the Rollup Draft have launched on mainnet, it’s time for permissionless rollup deployment. This phase will also introduce incentive streams (rewards) to top RollApps based on TVL.
Leap Integrates Forma Chain + Synchronous Composability
Forma Chain is now live on Leap, becoming Leap’s first native EVM chain integration. This means seamless bridging to and from Forma, across Celestia, Stargaze, Stride, and other modular chains. Soon users will be able to view their Forma NFTs directly from their Leap wallet too.
Soon after, Leap announced their integration of Nodekit, enabling Leap’s wide user base to leverage synchronous composability directly from their wallets.
Parallel Unveils New Shooter Game on Celestia
Parallel has unveiled their new upcoming first-person shooter game, Tau Ceti, which will be built as its own rollup with Celestia underneath.
For those new to Parallel, this is the same team behind the sci-fi trading card game.
Bullet: A New Solana L2
Another Solana L2 coming to market soon—introducing Bullet.
Bullet will aim to exceed performance capabilities of the Solana L1, while utilizing the L1 for settlement and DA.
The first dapp that will launch on Bullet will be a perpetuals CLOB, which is something the development team of Bulelt, Zeta, has had experience with in the past.
Bullet will be leveraging Sovereign SDK to build their L2.
Particle Network Launches Early Access for Universal Accounts
Particle Network has released its early access support for its Universal Accounts, with public access expected to go live very soon!
